You can go to http://www.romsite.net and download it from there if you are a member of romsite otherwise you can choose http://www.romfreaks.net or http://www.romnation.net.Download the DS emulator from http://www.emulator-zone.com

Demos? The Wii offers a service for that. As far as the DS itself … you would have to bring it into a store that offers those demos. The DSi now offers a download service built in apparently. But DS lite … you need a Wii or store.
